A Letter from Dr. Haar

Dear Haar Orthodontics Valued Patients,

We have exciting news regarding recent developments within our office! It is not every day that one finds the perfect fit to carry on the values and standards we have upheld over many years in Ojai and Ventura. I am delighted to announce that I have hand-selected Dr. Vikrum Nanda as the new owner of our orthodontic office. Dr. Nanda stands out with his dynamic energy and wealth of experience. I am excited for the progression of our practice as we transition into this new chapter!

 

After 30 years practicing orthodontics, I have decided to step away and pursue personal interests while I still feel young. I have the utmost confidence in Dr. Nanda and feel very comfortable passing the practice on to him. 

 

Dr. Nanda comes to us with an incredible reputation and background of professional achievements. He completed his dental training at Harvard University and received his Orthodontic Specialty Certificate and Masters in Oral Biology at UCLA. He is a Board-Certified Orthodontist and comes from a distinguished line of orthodontists, including his grandfather, granduncle, mother, sister and cousin. With his family members as role models, he is continuously driven to provide his patients with the highest quality of care. 

 

Dr. Nanda’s treatment philosophies and expertise in treating a wide range of orthodontic cases, from Invisalign to early intervention, adolescent, and adult orthodontics, will continue our practice’s tradition of excellence. Over the past 9 years, Dr. Nanda has directly led the treatment and clinical operations one of the most highly regarded practices in Ventura County. He is deeply rooted in the local dental community with over a decade of experience serving thousands of patients in surrounding communities. 

 

Outside of his professional life, Dr. Nanda lives in the Channel Islands Harbor area with his wife, Dr. Patricia Nanda, who is a pediatric dentist, and his two young boys. They attend elementary school at Our Lady of Assumption in Ventura. With an active family life, he enjoys tennis, marine life, and spending quality time with his family when he's not seeing patients.

 

Please join me in welcoming Dr. Nanda to our practice family! I will be working closely with Dr. Nanda in the coming months to ensure a smooth transition of your care to him. Your ongoing support and trust mean the world to us, and we can't wait to continue providing you with outstanding orthodontic services under Dr. Nanda’s leadership.
